Why do all female TMNT OCs have breasts?
I mean, seriously, am I the only one who finds that confusing? I know Venus de Milo had breasts, but given how poorly thought-out she and that entire live-action series was, I suppose that shouldn't be a surprise. I'm genuinely confused though.
I mean, think about it. Turtles are reptiles. Repitiles do not breast-feed their young - that's a trait exclusive of mammals. So there is absolutely no reason for TMNT girls to have breasts.
There are only two exceptions that would make this design make sense. One, that the TMNT girl used to be a human girl, and was modified into what she is now via crazy experiments (see: Mona Lisa) or two, that the first creature a female turtle touched after being splashed with 1980's-era mutagen was a female human. Otherwise, there's absolutely no reason for it, storyline-wise, and I am baffled.
Why I'm on the subject, I know that there are numerous pregancy/childbirth OC pairing stories running around, which is a logical extention of the popular female OC tree, but they're all live births. Is it really unusual of me to want a fanfiction where the female turtle lays eggs the size of small soccer balls, and those hatch into baby turtles? They could dig up the floor of the lair and turn it into a little nursery...
